- aircraft take-off, shutdown and refueling procedures are performed safely and appropriately
- aircraft configuration changes and pre- and post-flight inspections are performed
- the work carried out on an aircraft or a component complies with the regulations
- all spare parts are inspected before installation, approved and properly certified
- the performance of maintenance, repair, modification and daily inspection of company aircraft, as specified in the company maintenance control manual, takes place
- you will be responsible – within an experienced team – for the maintenance of our jets
- perform maintenance, repair work and daily inspection of the company’s aircraft as described in the company’s maintenance control manual
- complete and certify work reports for all work performed on the aircraft (after individual training)
- follow company procedures according to the maintenance manual, taking labor protection into account
- Previous aircraft maintenance experience in an airline operator environment
- You are able and willing to complete an aircraft maintenance course on the Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Regulations and pass a certification exam
- Proven track record of working on complex assignments requiring considerable judgment, initiative and technical/professional knowledge
- Excellent communication skills with good knowledge of English and German to be able to read, understand and interpret manuals, policies and procedures
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to work well in a team and in a fast-paced environment
- Class B driving license /
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and shift work
- Willingness to undertake business trips (also abroad).
- Experience working for the German Air Force or military aircraft training is an advantage
