Introduction
Friends of
the Don East is a membership-based charitable organization working
to protect and enhance the Don River and to encourage the establishment
of healthy and sustainable communities within the central and eastern
portions of the Don watershed in Toronto, Ontario.
While we support
all aspects of sustainable development, including energy efficiency and
social equity, our primary mandate is the design and delivery of
educational and community involvement programs to protect the natural
heritage and ecological integrity of the Don watershed.
FODE welcomes members of the public at all our events and
